It was worth its 4 stars. Many things to mention - air-conditioned rooms, FRIENDLY staff, great food.
-
The view from the room was amazing. With a small private balcony to enjoy the sundown was just perfect!
There are a few stairs to reach the hotel and its about 15mins walking to the city center; but there is someone that will help you carry your bags up to the hotel and also a bus stop just outside the hotel that will take you to town if you don't feel like walking...
-
The view from our room was spectacular and the service from the staff was equally as impressive.
-
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The views were spectacular and the town of Positano was very picturesque
The town is built on a cliff, so it should be noted that a lot of walking is to be expected. This hotel was only accessible via a number of steep steps and as such is difficult to get to for anyone not particularly mobile
-
Only drawback is the 103 steps up to the hotel lobby, however, great way to burn off great meals!
-
The beautiful views of the sea and village area.
No internet service in bedrooms and very limited in reception area if on your own computer using the hotel internet service.
-
nice location. clean room.
sea view terrace was very tiny, and you can bathe in the sun only till about 16:00 in the "Solarium".
-
Location and views were spectacular. Loved the solarium terrace where you can sun yourself and enjoy a drink or lunch.
Very high up in positano. Many stairs to climb to reach the hotel, difficult with luggage although staff was very helpful with this.
-
Hotel offers fanastic views of Positano. Parking (paid separately), reception and facilities very good. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but clean and tidy.
The views come at price: 100+ steps to hotel but then the attraction of Positano is it is built on a hillside.
-
View from the terrace and room balcony and shower was amazing. Good location and amenities.
Triple room for 3 adults was a little small. We ate in one night in the hotel restaurant, wasn't the best option. Good restaurants nearby.
-
Rooms nice, Hotel absolutely lovely
107steps to get to the hotel from the main road. TAlso, you pay more than a normal fee for the room, but you have to pay extra for the aircon to be switched on. 10 Euros per day. Without aircon, the rooms are too hot!! I wont stay there again. Sayed in many nicer hotels in Positano before!
-
Wonderful view but hard to get there.
Poor breakfast and no free parking and free intrenet connectio
-
Access through a set of stairs - very romantic, beautiful. View from the room on Positano and the see - unmatched. Ceramic tiles floors, bathrooms - simply very beautiful decorations everywhere using local ceramics and art work.
-
The amasing panorama over the sea, the silence and the quietness. The interesting retro furniture of the hotel.
-
Spectacular views. The "Terrace Rooms" are definitely worth the extra $. Beautiful restaurant. Outstanding breakfast with the option to add eggs/omlet for small charge. Very helpful staff. Parking available close by. Comfortable spacious rooms. All around great value.
120 steps from the street to the hotel desk. Not for those who have very limited mobility. (This is true for most of Positano). Porter will meet you at the parking area to bring your luggage.
